Today we shot my promotional video (Which is separate to Daniel's promo video).

For mine, I wanted to capture the fact that she wasn't in their lives anymore. Therefore, I had the idea of burning a photo of the two of them and having her being burnt out of the photo.

Scripting the Opening Credits Scene (INDEPENDENT)

I WROTE THE SCRIPT INDEPENDENTLY.

Our War of Hearts music video will have multiple sequences without music to emphasise some of the elements of the story. This is a common convention in alternative music, which has been done in music videos such as this one and this one.
The sequence we are scripting now is the audio for the opening sequence, which will play underneath the title card and will set the tone for the piece. It will also serve as a prelude to the later sequence, in which the argument escalates.

Daniel and I decided to shoot very early in the morning to get a sunrise shot with the field setting. We also decided to shoot the lip-sync in the forest to keep with the nature theme.

Daniel Filmed the clips in the video and I edited the video.

PRE-PRODUCTION - Creating the Camera Overlay (GROUP)

Daniel and I created a camera overlay on Photoshop.

We screen-shotted the camera app on my iPhone 5S, then imported it to Photoshop. We then added a layer mask and alpha channel to create a template which can be overlaid onto a video, simulating the artist taking a photo of her partner.
